Job summary

Placements24 is assisting a forward-thinking organization in recruiting an experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist to join their fully remote team. You will develop and implement EHS programs, conduct risk assessments, and promote a strong safety culture across operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, at least 5 years in EHS, and solid knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations. You will train staff, conduct audits, investigate incidents, and report to management while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an EHS role in energy or industrial sector.
• In-depth knowledge of EHS regulations (OSHA, EPA, local laws).
• Experience developing and delivering EHS training programs.
• Strong analytical, auditing, and problem-solving skills; remote communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures.
• Conduct site inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and non-compliance.
• Investigate incidents and develop corrective and preventive actions.
• Organize and deliver EHS training programs to employees at all levels.
• Monitor changes in legislation and regulations, ensuring compliance.
