Placements24 is seeking an E-commerce Sales Specialist to join a fast-growing online retailer of consumer electronics. This fully remote role is based in South Africa and focuses on driving online revenue, optimizing listings, and enhancing the customer journey across marketplaces.

You will work with marketing, operations, and customer support to achieve ambitious growth targets, leveraging Google/Facebook ads and SEO tools to maximize performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in e-commerce sales or digital retail on marketplaces (e.g., Takealot, Amazon).
• Strong knowledge of SEO and digital marketing tools.
• Ability to analyze sales data and derive actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to grow online revenue across channels.
• Optimize listings, descriptions, images and pricing to boost visibility and conversions.
• Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities.
• Coordinate inventory with fulfillment partners for timely orders.
• Create online promos including flash sales, bundles, and seasonal offers.
• Monitor competitors and pricing to stay competitive.
• Collaborate with marketing on PPC and social ads to drive traffic.
• Provide performance insights and reports to management.
