Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a remote Early Childhood Development Specialist and Curriculum Designer to craft developmentally appropriate curricula for ages 3-6, leveraging research to drive high-quality content. This fully remote role requires strong independent work and collaboration with a distributed team.

You will design digital learning materials, assessments, and resources, guide remote facilitators, and refine programs based on data and outcomes to make a global impact on early education.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Curriculum Design, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 3 years specifically in curriculum development and design.
• Proven experience in creating and delivering remote or online learning programs.
• Strong understanding of child development theories, learning frameworks, and pedagogical approaches for ages 3-6.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex educational concepts clearly.
• Proficiency in using digital collaboration tools and learning management systems (LMS).
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
• Creative and analytical thinking skills with a focus on innovative educational solutions.
• Portfolio showcasing previous curriculum development projects is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement innovative early childhood education curricula and learning materials, focusing on digital and remote delivery methods.
• Conduct thorough research into best practices, learning theories, and educational technologies relevant to early childhood development.
• Create engaging content including lesson plans, activities, assessments, and digital learning resources.
• Collaborate virtually with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and project managers to ensure curriculum quality and alignment with learning objectives.
• Adapt existing curriculum frameworks and develop new ones to meet evolving educational standards and child development needs.
• Provide guidance and support to remote facilitators and educators implementing the curriculum.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of curricula and learning materials, making data-driven revisions as needed.
• Ensure all developed content is inclusive, accessible, and promotes positive child development.
