Placements24 invites an experienced Early Childhood Development Specialist to design, curate, and deliver engaging curricula for ages 2-6 via a fully remote platform. This contract role focuses on creating digital learning experiences and collaborating with instructional designers and multimedia developers.

You will apply deep knowledge of child development and pedagogical best practices, ensuring content is child-safe and accessible across regions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in early childhood education, curriculum development, or instructional design.
• Proven experience in developing digital learning content or virtual educational programs.
• In-depth knowledge of child development theories, learning methodologies, and pedagogical approaches for young children.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in educational technology tools and platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting with a reliable internet connection.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop innovative curriculum and lesson plans for early childhood learners (ages 2-6).
• Create engaging, interactive digital learning content including activities, games, and stories.
• Conduct research on current trends and best practices in early childhood education and ed-tech.
• Collaborate with designers and developers to translate educational concepts into online modules.
• Develop assessment strategies to monitor children's progress and learning outcomes.
• Provide guidance and support to parents and educators utilizing the digital platform.
• Review and update existing educational content to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
• Contribute to the strategic direction of early learning program development.
• Stay abreast of child safety and privacy regulations for online environments.
