Placements24 is seeking a skilled Remote E-commerce Platform Manager to oversee and enhance our digital storefront, serving customers in SA and globally.

You will manage day-to-day operations, optimize user experience, drive conversions, implement new features, and collaborate with marketing, IT, and operations teams to keep the platform secure, reliable, and high-performing.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in e-commerce platform management or related remote role.
• Hands-on experience with major platforms (Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud).
• Strong web analytics, A/B testing, and CRO techniques.

Responsibilities

You will work closely with technical, marketing, and operations teams to maintain a high-performing and customer-centric online store. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end e-commerce platform, including website content, product catalog, promotions, and user experience optimization.
• Oversee the implementation of new features, integrations, and technical enhancements to the e-commerce site.
• Monitor website performance, uptime, and security, ensuring a stable and reliable shopping environment.
• Analyze e-commerce data, including conversion rates, average order value, and customer journey, to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure seamless integration of marketing campaigns and promotional activities with the e-commerce platform.

Requirements
