Job summary

Placements24 is partnering with a rapidly expanding online retailer to hire a Remote E-commerce Specialist. The role focuses on optimizing the online storefronts, driving traffic, improving the customer journey, and increasing sales from home office based anywhere in South Africa.

You will develop and execute e-commerce initiatives, manage product listings on Shopify/WooCommerce, analyze web analytics, and collaborate with marketing and IT to deliver a seamless buying experience.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in e-commerce management, digital marketing, or related online retail field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement e-commerce strategies to drive online sales and customer acquisition.
• Manage and optimize product listings across online marketplaces and company website.
• Analyze website traffic and user behavior using analytics tools to identify trends.
• Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns (SEO, SEM, social media, email) to drive qualified traffic.
• Monitor and report on e-commerce KPIs with insights for improvement.
• Collaborate with marketing and IT for a seamless online customer experience.
• Manage online promotions, discounts, and loyalty programs.
• Stay updated on e-commerce trends and technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the e-commerce platform or transactions.
• Contribute to the overall digital strategy with innovative ideas for growth.
