Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote E-commerce Data Scientist to join its innovative team. This fully remote role will leverage advanced analytics and ML to uncover insights and drive strategic decisions across our e-commerce operations.

You will build predictive models, optimize customer experiences, and identify growth opportunities in a distributed, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in a quantitative field.
• Proven experience applying ML to business problems, preferably in e-commerce.
• Proficiency in Python or R and data manipulation libraries (Pandas, NumPy).
• Strong understanding of statistical modeling, experimental design, and data mining.
• Experience with SQL and large datasets, including cloud data warehouses.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently remotely.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sophisticated machine learning models to predict customer behavior, optimize pricing, and personalize recommendations.
• Analyze large datasets from various sources to identify key trends and insights.
• Design and execute experiments (A/B testing) to measure the impact of new features and marketing strategies.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and engineering teams to translate data insights into actionable business strategies.
• Build and maintain robust data pipelines and reporting systems to track key performance indicators.
• Communicate complex analytical findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
