Placements24 seeks a highly skilled Data Scientist for a fully remote role. You will develop, train, and deploy machine learning models to solve business problems and extract insights from large datasets to guide strategy and product decisions.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in data science, proficient Python or R, SQL, and data visualization tools, plus strong communication for remote collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.

Responsibilities

• Develop, train, and deploy machine learning models to solve complex business problems.
• Perform data mining, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling on large datasets.
• Clean, transform, and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and suitability for analysis.
• Design and conduct A/B tests and other experiments to validate hypotheses and measure impact.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to integrate data science solutions into production systems.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly through visualizations and presentations.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI.
