Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist specializing in machine learning and AI to join a remote-first team. You will develop and deploy advanced analytical models driving strategic decisions and product innovation across global datasets.

Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and other data scientists to translate business problems into data-driven solutions while staying current with AI research and industry best practices in a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related quantitative field (≥ Master’s).
• 5+ years of professional experience in data science with ML/AI model development.
• Proficiency in Python or R and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data tech (Spark, Hadoop).
• Ability to translate business problems into data science solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration for remote work.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy ML models for predictive analytics, classification, and clustering.
• Develop deep learning architectures for NLP and computer vision.
• Clean and analyze large datasets to identify patterns and insights.
• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate models into production systems and APIs.
• Conduct A/B testing and statistical analysis to evaluate model performance and impact.
• Stay updated with AI research and apply insights to business challenges remotely.
