Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Drilling Engineer to join a fully remote team. You will plan, execute, and supervise drilling operations worldwide, ensuring safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Strong independence and the ability to collaborate with field teams are essential.

You will develop detailed drilling programs, select appropriate equipment, and manage performance across onshore and offshore wells, while adhering to HSE standards and using drilling simulation software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of drilling engineering and operations experience.
• Experience developing and executing drilling programs for different well types.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive drilling plans for onshore and offshore wells.
• Select equipment and techniques to optimize safety and performance.
• Perform calculations for well control, casing design, cementing, and directional drilling.
• Monitor drilling operations remotely and provide technical support.
• Manage drilling budgets and ensure cost control.
