Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 10+ years of hands-on drilling engineering experience, with offshore/deepwater exposure.
• Expertise in well planning, BOP operations, directional drilling, and MPD.
• Strong knowledge of drilling software and simulation tools.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills for remote work.
• Ability to manage multiple projects autonomously from distance.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive drilling programs, including well design, equipment selection, and cost estimation.
• Oversee drilling operations execution, ensuring safety regulations and company policies.
• Analyze drilling data in real-time to identify and mitigate risks and operational challenges.
• Lead the technical evaluation and selection of drilling fluids, casing programs, and cementing designs.
• Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to drilling engineers and operational staff.
• Manage relationships with service providers and contractors to ensure high performance and cost control.
