Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Drilling Engineer to join a fully remote team. You will plan, execute, and supervise drilling operations worldwide, ensuring safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Strong independence and the ability to collaborate with field teams are essential.

You will develop detailed drilling programs, select appropriate equipment, and manage performance across onshore and offshore wells, while adhering to HSE standards and using drilling simulation software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of drilling engineering and operations experience.
• Experience developing and executing drilling programs for different well types.

As a remote team member, you will have the autonomy to manage your workload and contribute to significant projects globally, collaborating with field teams and onshore support staff to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive drilling plans and programs for onshore and offshore wells.
• Select appropriate drilling equipment, tools, and techniques to optimize performance and safety.
• Perform engineering calculations for well control, casing design, cementing, and directional drilling.
• Monitor drilling operations remotely, providing technical support and problem-solving expertise.

Requirements
