Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Remote Distribution Planner to optimize the flow of goods for operations supporting Paarl, Western Cape. The role involves creating efficient distribution plans, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring timely delivery of products to various destinations from a home-based setup.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in distribution planning, transportation management, or logistics coordination.
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles and logistics networks.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive distribution plans that meet service level agreements and cost targets.
- Coordinate with internal teams, carriers, and third-party logistics providers to ensure smooth transportation operations.
- Monitor shipment progress, proactively identify potential delays, and implement contingency plans.
- Analyze distribution data to identify trends, optimize routes, and improve overall network efficiency.
- Manage transportation budgets and seek opportunities for cost savings without compromising service quality.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and documentation requirements.
