Job summary

Somewhere is seeking a Director, Client Delivery to own client delivery across the firm, accountable for scope, margin, and client satisfaction. You won't carry your own caseload but will set quality standards and lead our consultant bench with decision rights defined from day one.

You will work directly with the CEO, oversee engagement economics, expand existing accounts, and drive AI automation in delivery using tools like HubSpot, Slack, and Asana.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of HR experience with breadth across relations, compliance, compensation, policies, and org design.
• 3+ years leading consultants or client engagements in a consulting or professional services setting.
• Commercial instinct with budget or project P&L experience.
• Executive presence with ability to work with founders, CEOs, and COOs.

Responsibilities

• Own the quality bar for every deliverable across engagements.
• Build clear project plans with defined deliverables and target dates.
• Review work before client delivery and enforce scope.
• Primary escalation point for consultant or deliverable issues.
• Own gross margin tracking and scope management for engagements.
• Identify opportunities for upsells and expansion within accounts.
