Placements24 is seeking a Digital PR Manager to lead remote PR initiatives for a diverse client portfolio. This remote-first role offers Cape Town and SA-wide flexibility, empowering you to design and implement digital PR strategies that boost visibility, drive traffic, and build brand authority.

You will collaborate with SEO, content, and social teams to secure digital placements, monitor media performance, and adapt campaigns to evolving trends in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in digital public relations or digital marketing with a PR focus.
• Proven success in securing digital placements and building online media relationships.
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and how they relate to PR.
• Proficiency in social media management tools, analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics), and PR software.
• Excellent copywriting and editing skills, with a flair for creating engaging digital content.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage projects efficiently, and adapt to changing digital trends in a remote setting.
• Creative mindset with a passion for all things digital.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute integrated digital PR strategies across various online platforms.
• Manage and grow online media relations, focusing on digital publications, blogs, and news sites.
• Develop engaging digital content, including blog posts, social media updates, infographics, and videos, for PR purposes.
• Identify and engage with relevant online influencers and brand advocates.
• Conduct digital media monitoring and analysis, tracking online sentiment and share of voice.
• Optimize online press mentions and backlinks to improve SEO performance.
• Collaborate with SEO, content, and social media teams to ensure cohesive digital strategies.
• Manage online reputation and respond to digital crises effectively.
