Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated Remote Digital Marketing and PR Manager to lead our campaigns from anywhere. You will develop comprehensive digital marketing strategies across SEO, SEM, social media, email, and content, while steering our PR to boost brand awareness and customer acquisition in the South African market.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in digital marketing and public relations, strong analytics, and proven success in media relations and crisis communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, PR or related field.
• 5+ years in digital marketing & PR with a strong campaign portfolio.
• Expertise in SEO, SEM, social media, content strategy and email marketing.
• Proven media relations & crisis communication experience.
• Strong writing, storytelling and communication skills.
• Analytical thinker with data-driven insights using marketing tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute digital marketing and PR campaigns across channels.
• Lead social media strategy and content creation for engagement.
• Oversee PR campaigns, media outreach and relations with key outlets.
• Create marketing collateral tailored for the SA market.
• Monitor performance, analyze data, and report ROI.
• Manage marketing budget and optimize spend for impact.
• Collaborate with product and sales to ensure brand consistency.
• Lead crisis communications and rapid response when needed.
