Job summary

Equate Recruitment is seeking an experienced Digital Account Manager for the Johannesburg area with a flexible remote working arrangement. You will manage a portfolio of clients, translate marketing objectives into effective digital media campaigns and collaborate with internal teams to deliver measurable results.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years in digital media or account management.
• Experience in programmatic advertising and campaign management.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with Google, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube.
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop strong, long-term relationships with an established portfolio of clients.
• Act as the primary point of contact, understanding client objectives, marketing strategies and business priorities.
• Oversee the planning, execution, optimisation and reporting of digital media and programmatic advertising campaigns.
• Coordinate with internal campaign management, AdOps and technical teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Manage client briefs, campaign budgets, timelines, expectations and deliverables.
• Lead client meetings, present campaign performance reports and provide strategic recommendations.
• Provide guidance on digital media strategy, audience targeting, campaign optimisation and performance.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen existing client partnerships and improve campaign outcomes.
• Stay informed about developments across digital advertising, programmatic media and social platforms.
