Blacksmith Agency is hiring a Sales Development Representative to drive pipeline across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel—researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, and making a strong first impression of Blacksmith for potential clients.

This full-time, remote role requires proactive outreach, pattern recognition and thoughtful messaging using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to hit volume goals while keeping touches high

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role; agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
