Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring a Sales Development Representative to open doors and build the pipeline across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel, sourcing decision makers, crafting personalized outreach, and booking discovery calls for our Account Executives.

This remote role requires 2 years in an SDR/BDR capacity, strong written communication, and hands-on experience with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, and ZoomInfo.

Qualifications

• 2 years in an SDR/BDR role, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication with personalized outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools: Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo.
• Proficient in Salesforce and pipeline management.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
