Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a results-driven Sales Development Representative to drive top-of-funnel demand across South Africa. You will research and target ideal accounts, identify decision makers, and craft personalized outreach sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone to book discovery calls for the Account Executives.

You will maintain accurate CRM data, leverage tools like Salesforce, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo, and continuously test messaging to improve targeting.

Qualifications

• 2 years in an SDR or BDR role, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
