Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a knowledgeable DeFi Specialist to join a fully remote team. You will explore, analyze, and contribute to the DeFi ecosystem, leveraging blockchain, smart contracts, and financial instruments to identify opportunities and assess risks.

You will work with a distributed team on cutting-edge fintech projects, staying ahead of regulatory shifts and market dynamics shaping decentralized finance. Strong research and remote-communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field.
Proven understanding of the DeFi ecosystem.
Familiarity with blockchain tech, smart contracts, and major DeFi platforms.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills; able to assess financial instruments and risks.
Excellent research and communication abilities for a remote environment.

Responsibilities

Analyze and evaluate DeFi protocols including lending platforms, DEXs, and yield farming opportunities.
Identify trends and investment opportunities within DeFi space.
Assess risks and security implications of DeFi protocols and smart contracts.
Contribute to development of strategies for participating in or building DeFi applications.
Stay updated on regulatory changes and market dynamics impacting DeFi.
