Job summary

Placements24 is hiring a Senior Blockchain Developer for a fully remote role. You will design, build, and deploy secure smart contracts across multiple platforms and develop supporting dApps and backend services.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in software development with 3+ years in blockchain and smart contracts, plus strong knowledge of Solidity, Rust or Vyper and DeFi protocols. Global remote collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of software development with at least 3 years in blockchain/smart-contract development.
Proficiency in Solidity, Rust or Vyper.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement smart contracts on Ethereum, Solana, Polygon using Solidity, Rust, or Vyper.
Develop and maintain decentralized applications (dApps) and backend services.
Integrate blockchain tech with existing financial systems and third-party APIs.
Conduct code reviews, testing, and security audits for robustness of contracts and dApps.
Collaborate with product, design and engineering teams to define new features.
Optimize blockchain protocols and dApp performance for scalability and efficiency.
Stay current with blockchain tech, cryptography, and DeFi trends.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex blockchain deployment issues.
Contribute to overall technical strategy and architecture.
