New York Hardware, a decorative hardware retailer, is seeking a detail‑oriented Sales & Order Support Specialist to join remotely. You will translate customer requests into correctly built orders and help ensure accuracy and timely processing.

You will enter orders in NetSuite and Shopify, confirm details with customers, and keep notes organized to prevent errors. Experience with architectural hardware is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in sales support, inside sales, order processing, or customer service.
• Experience with decorative hardware, architectural hardware, or related home-improvement retail.
• Excellent written and spoken English, comfortable with phone, email and chat.
• Experience with ERP/ecommerce platforms; NetSuite or Shopify is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Build and enter customer orders accurately in NetSuite and Shopify, verifying item numbers, finishes, quantities, and pricing.
• Communicate with customers by phone, email, and chat to confirm order details and provide lead-time estimates.
• Catch and resolve discrepancies before an order is finalized — wrong finish, incomplete sets, mismatched hardware.
• Follow up on incomplete or pending orders to keep them moving toward completion.
• Hand off complex requests to the in-house sales/CS team with clear notes.
• Recommend matching or complementary decorative hardware where relevant.
• Keep organized, accurate notes on every order and customer interaction.
