Job summary

Placements24 is seeking dedicated Customer Support Agents to join our expanding virtual support team. This fully remote role lets you work from home with a stable internet connection, preferably from Tembisa or surrounding areas in Gauteng.

You will be the first point of contact for customers, resolving inquiries and ensuring a positive experience. You should be empathetic, enjoy problem solving, and be comfortable navigating CRM systems.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in customer service, call center or helpdesk roles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Strong listening and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with computers; experience with CRM systems is a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace in Tembisa, Gauteng, ZA.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications in customer service are advantageous.
• Availability to work flexible shifts as required by business needs.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a professional and timely manner.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues related to products and services, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Accurately document customer interactions, complaints, and resolutions in the CRM system.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments or senior support staff when necessary.
• Provide information about products and services, guiding customers through features and functionalities.
• Identify and communicate potential service improvements based on customer feedback and recurring issues.
• Adhere to established company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Meet or exceed KPIs for customer satisfaction, resolution time, and efficiency.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times, even in challenging customer interactions.
