Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Credit Analyst to remotely assess borrower credit risk, analyze financial statements, and provide informed loan recommendations. This role emphasizes risk mitigation and maintaining a sound loan portfolio while offering remote work flexibility.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of credit analysis experience, strong financial statement and ratio analysis skills, and proficiency with Excel and financial databases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in credit analysis or financial risk assessment.
• Strong understanding of financial statement analysis, ratio analysis, and credit scoring models.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other data to assess borrower credit risk.
• Prepare comprehensive credit reports and present findings to loan committees.
• Monitor the credit quality of existing loan portfolios and identify potential risks.
• Ensure compliance with credit policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate with clients to gather necessary financial information and discuss loan terms.
• Stay informed about industry trends and economic conditions affecting credit risk.
