Placements24 is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Investment Manager for a Stellenbosch-based role with a remote-first setup. You will source, evaluate, and manage a diverse CRE portfolio across the region, performing due diligence, financial modeling, asset management, and value enhancement for the fund.

• Master's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field.
• CFA designation is a strong advantage.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in real estate investment management, acquisitions, or development.
• Demonstrated success in underwriting and managing commercial real estate assets.
• Exceptional financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial real estate markets, particularly within the Western Cape.
• Proven negotiation and deal-structuring abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Strong leadership and relationship management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a demanding workload in a fully remote environment.
• Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite.

Responsabilidades

• Source, analyze, and underwrite potential commercial real estate investment opportunities, including office, retail, and industrial properties.
• Develop and execute comprehensive investment strategies to maximize portfolio returns.
• Conduct extensive due diligence, including market analysis, financial projections, and risk assessments.
• Manage existing portfolio assets, overseeing leasing, property operations, and value-add initiatives.
• Prepare detailed investment reports, financial models, and presentations for the investment committee and investors.
• Negotiate acquisition and disposition terms, as well as joint venture agreements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, developers, lenders, and other industry professionals.
• Monitor market trends, economic conditions, and competitive landscapes impacting commercial real estate investments.
• Oversee asset management activities to ensure optimal property performance and value appreciation.
• Collaborate with legal counsel and external advisors throughout the investment lifecycle.
