Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Remote Corporate Paralegal to join its legal team in South Africa. The role is fully remote, supporting attorneys with corporate records, contract administration, and governance compliance within a distributed team.

Ideal candidates will have a paralegal qualification or equivalent corporate experience, proven paralegal work, and strong skills in governance and legal software. This position offers growth and a collaborative, tech-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Paralegal qualification or equivalent experience in a corporate legal setting is required.
• Proven experience as a Corporate Paralegal or similar role is preferred.
• Strong understanding of corporate governance and SA company law is essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain corporate records (minute books, share registers, filings).
• Draft/review corporate agreements and resolutions.
• Assist with documentation for mergers, acquisitions and other corporate transactions.
• Ensure compliance with corporate laws and regulations.
• Coordinate communication between legal, finance and other departments.
• Organize and manage legal documentation and databases.
