Job summary

Placements24 seeks a dedicated Remote Corporate Paralegal to join its fully remote legal team supporting operations based out of Centurion. You will handle corporate governance tasks, maintain records, and assist in due diligence and transactional matters from anywhere.

The ideal candidate has a paralegal certificate with corporate law focus and at least 3 years of experience, including remote work. Strong organization, research skills, and effective communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate or equivalent with a focus on corporate law.
• Minimum of 3 years of corporate paralegal experience, preferably remote.
• Proficient in legal research databases and standard office software.
• Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to manage time and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication suitable for remote work.

Responsibilities

• Assist with filing corporate documents, annual returns, and board resolutions.
• Maintain minute books and statutory registers.
• Support due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions.
• Organize and manage physical and electronic legal files for quick retrieval.
• Coordinate with external counsel and government agencies as needed.
• Prepare materials for board meetings and governance functions.
