Job summary

Remote Recruitment connects South African talent with UK employers and is hiring a Conveyancing Assistant for a UK employer, fully remote from South Africa. You will support UK conveyancers by ordering searches, preparing packs and keeping clients updated to prevent stalled transactions.

You will work 09:00-17:00 UK time (11:00-19:00 SAST) from home, with a proper induction and a manager available during the day. This is a permanent role, not a short contract.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting conveyancing, property law or legal case administration.
• Familiarity with a legal case management system.
• Strong accuracy with dates, forms and file documentation.
• Clear, reassuring written and phone communication with clients.

Responsibilities

• Open files, run client checks and prepare initial packs.
• Order property searches and chase results.
• Prepare draft contracts, forms and completion statements.
• Liaise with estate agents, lenders and the other side.
• Keep the case management system accurate and up to date.
• Update clients on progress at agreed milestones.
