D2B in South Africa is seeking a dedicated Conveyancing Paralegal to support UK-based legal practices remotely. You will assist with contract preparation, title checks, and settlement coordination, ensuring accuracy and compliance across conveyancing processes.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of conveyancing/paralegal experience
• Experience supporting UK legal practices is required
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with common office software (MS Office, Google Workspace)
• Familiarity with legal practice management software (Smokeball, Clio, LEAP, etc.) a plus
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Experience in a remote working environment is a plus
• Flexibility to work across different time zones as needed

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and review of conveyancing documents (contracts of sale, transfer documents, settlement statements)
• Conduct title searches, property searches, and due diligence for property transactions
• Manage file setup, document organization and case management
• Liaise with clients, real estate agents, lenders and stakeholders
• Prepare settlement documents and coordinate settlement timelines
• Draft correspondence and communicate updates to clients
• Support compliance checks and document reviews related to property matters
• Maintain information in Smokeball/other practice management systems
• Ensure tasks comply with UK conveyancing procedures and timelines
