Job summary

K2 Recruit is seeking a Conveyancing Specialist to join a high-performing Scottish residential conveyancing team. In this role, you will provide administrative legal support to conveyancers in Scotland and combine your conveyancing skills to ensure a high-quality client experience.

Applicants should possess a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), be an Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa, and have a minimum of two years’ residential conveyancing experience. The role requires working UK hours and offers the possibility to work from home.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years’ residential conveyancing experience.
• Conveyancing experience in Scottish law an advantage.
• Work UK hours and take UK Bank holidays.
• Ability to work from home if required (min 20 meg fibre line).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Own transport.

Responsibilities

• Complete all post-settlement steps on Scottish residential conveyancing transactions.
• Handle post-settlement correspondence and enquiries.
• Deliver an exceptional client experience.
• Ensure compliance with our client’s risk policies, flag and elevate risks promptly.
• Proactively communicate with key stakeholders.
• Keep abreast of legal and technical developments in the Scottish conveyancing space.

Skills

Detailed knowledge of residential conveyancing in South Africa and/or the United Kingdom

Excellent written and verbal communication

Highly organised team player

Attention to detail and accuracy

Tech savvy with excellent AI and Microsoft Office skills
