Job summary

Remote Recruitment is hiring a Claims Administrator for a UK employer, fully remote from South Africa. You will move claims through from first notification to settlement, keeping the file complete and the claimant informed at every step.

You will work 09:00-17:00 UK time (11:00-19:00 SAST) from home, with equipment guidance, a proper induction and a manager who is contactable through the day. This is a permanent role, not a short contract.

Qualifications

• Experience in claims, insurance administration or case-based customer service.
• Ability to handle detailed documentation accurately and consistently.
• Clear, empathetic written and spoken communication.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and structured processes.
• Reliable home internet and a quiet space for UK-hours work.

Responsibilities

• Log new claims accurately and open the case file.
• Gather supporting documents and chase missing items.
• Update claimants on progress at agreed intervals.
• Liaise with assessors, suppliers and internal teams.
• Track claim status and escalate issues when stalled.
• Maintain accurate records for audit and reporting.
