Job summary
Placements24 is seeking an experienced Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join the legal team. This remote role (Upington or anywhere in SA) focuses on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of contracts to support business objectives.
You will mitigate risks and ensure legal soundness across commercial deals. The position requires admission as an Attorney of the High Court with 5+ years in commercial contract law, strong drafting and negotiation skills, and the ability to work
Qualifications
- Admitted Attorney with at least 5 years in commercial contract law.
- Proven ability to draft and negotiate complex terms.
- Experience with contract lifecycle management and risk assessment.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including vendor, SLAs, NDAs and partnerships.
- Provide expert legal advice on contractual matters and liabilities.
- Ensure contracts comply with laws and company policies.
- Manage contract lifecycle including renewals and terminations.
- Collaborate with business units to deliver effective legal solutions.
