Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Construction Planning Engineer to join their team in a fully remote capacity, with projects centered around the Polokwane area. You will develop and manage detailed project schedules and ensure coordinated execution.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or related field and at least five years of scheduling experience, with proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project and strong analytical communication skills. Remote work is supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in construction planning and scheduling.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using planning software.
• Analyze project scope, identify critical path activities, forecast resource requirements.
• Monitor progress against the baseline schedule and propose corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project managers, site teams, and stakeholders to align on planning.
• Prepare progress reports, forecasting, and schedule risk analysis for management.
• Optimize construction sequences to enhance efficiency and reduce duration.
