Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Construction Project Manager to lead remote projects from inception to completion in a distributed team.

You will coordinate with remote teams, manage budgets and schedules using Procore, Primavera P6 or MS Project, and ensure safety and quality standards are met. This role offers remote work from anywhere in South Africa and a competitive package.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of construction project management experience, with remote or hybrid delivery.
• Proficiency with PM software (Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project) and collaboration tools (Slack, Zoom, Asana).
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, codes, and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving across dispersed teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans including scope, budgets, and timelines.
• Coordinate with remote teams, architects, engineers, and suppliers to reach milestones.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular virtual reviews and stakeholder updates on status and resolutions.
• Manage contractor and vendor relationships and performance.
