Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager for a fully remote role overseeing projects mainly in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. You will lead planning, execution and closing, manage budgets, schedules and stakeholder communications from a distance.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 7 years in construction project management, a degree in CM or Engineering, and strong leadership; proficiency with MS Project or Primavera and remote collaboration tools welcomed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction project management.
• Proven track record of managing complex projects from initiation to completion.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Exceptional leadership and remote stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with MS Project and Primavera.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and finalize construction projects from a remote perspective.
• Define scope, goals, and deliverables with senior management.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Oversee project teams, contractors, and consultants with clear communication.
• Mitigate risks, resolve issues, and implement contingency plans.
• Conduct progress reporting and financial oversight for all projects.
