Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Remote Construction Planner to support project teams from anywhere within Gauteng or beyond. You will develop and manage detailed schedules, coordinate resources, and ensure timely project delivery in a fully remote setup.

The role requires a degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, at least 5 years of scheduling experience, and proficiency with Primavera P6 and MS Project.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction planning and scheduling.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, lifecycles, and sequencing.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and remotely.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed construction schedules using industry-standard planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
• Coordinate project timelines with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers in a remote setting.
• Perform resource leveling, analyze critical paths, and identify potential scheduling conflicts or delays.
• Prepare progress reports, look-ahead schedules, and scenario analyses for project stakeholders.
• Assist in the development of logistics plans and the sequencing of construction activities.
• Ensure all planning activities comply with project requirements and safety protocols.
