Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Remote Construction Planner to develop detailed construction schedules, allocate resources, and devise logistical strategies. Working remotely, you will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site personnel to ensure projects are planned and executed efficiently.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field and at least 5 years of scheduling experience, with proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, or Asta

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction planning and scheduling.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, or Asta PowerProject.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, processes, and project lifecycles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed construction master schedules using Primavera P6 or similar planning software.
• Analyze project scopes, blueprints, and specifications to determine optimal sequencing of construction activities.
• Identify potential project risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate delays and cost overruns.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site personnel to gather input for planning.
• Prepare resource-loaded schedules including labor, equipment, and material requirements.
• Monitor construction progress against the plan and recommend schedule adjustments.
• Produce regular progress reports and visualizations for project stakeholders.
