Job summary
Placements24 is seeking a specialized HR Specialist focusing on Compensation and Benefits to join the team remotely from anywhere in South Africa. You will design, implement, and manage compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain talent, conduct market research, and analyze trends to align with business strategy.
The role requires a data-driven mindset, strong C&B knowledge, proficiency with HRIS and advanced Excel, and SA labour law expertise.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of specialized experience in Compensation and Benefits management.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with compensation survey data.
- Proficiency in HRIS and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent understanding of South African labor laws related to remuneration.
Responsibilities
- Develop and administer competitive salary structures, incentive plans, and bonus programs.
- Manage and evaluate employee benefits programs, including medical aid, retirement funds, and insurance.
- Conduct regular market analysis and benchmarking to ensure competitive positioning of compensation packages.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation pertaining to compensation and benefits.
- Collaborate with finance and payroll teams on C&B-related matters.
