Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a passionate Community Health Educator to join our team in a fully remote role. You will develop and deliver health education programs, facilitate virtual workshops, and create accessible materials to improve health literacy across diverse communities.

You will use digital platforms to reach wide audiences, promote preventative care and chronic disease management, and collaborate with public health partners to expand outreach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Education, Nursing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in health education or community health promotion.
• Strong understanding of public health principles and health behavior theories.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, adapted for remote delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging health education programs and workshops via virtual platforms.
• Create informative and accessible health materials, including brochures, presentations, and online content.
• Promote healthy lifestyles and disease prevention strategies to target communities.
• Assess community health needs and tailor educational interventions accordingly.
• Collaborate with public health organizations and community leaders to expand reach.
• Track program participation and evaluate the effectiveness of educational initiatives.
