Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Community Engagement Manager to lead our remote-first initiatives across online and offline platforms. You will connect with supporters, volunteers and beneficiaries, build communities, and amplify our social impact from anywhere.

In this role you will design engagement strategies, recruit and train remote volunteers, and collaborate with internal teams to advance campaigns while maintaining a strong emphasis on storytelling and effective digital communication.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in community management or digital engagement.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and storytelling skills.
• Proficiency in social media management tools, CRM software, and virtual collaboration platforms.
• Strong strategic thinking to develop engaging online programs.
• Experience in the non-profit or social impact sector is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute community engagement strategies leveraging digital platforms and virtual events.
• Build and nurture relationships with online communities, forums, and social media groups.
• Develop content and communications plans to inform, inspire, and mobilize community members.
• Organize and facilitate virtual events, webinars, and online discussions.
• Monitor community sentiment and engagement metrics, providing insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align community efforts with organizational goals and campaigns.
• Recruit, train, and support remote volunteers and community ambassadors.
