Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an energetic Community Outreach Coordinator to manage initiatives remotely across South Africa. You will plan, execute, and evaluate outreach programs to connect with underserved communities and build supportive networks through digital tools.

You will coordinate virtual information sessions, workshops, and events; cultivate relationships with community leaders and partner organizations online; manage social media campaigns and digital communications; and track outcomes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Community Development, Social Sciences, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience in community outreach or program coordination.
• Excellent digital communication and presentation skills; comfortable with virtual meeting tools.
• Proficiency in social media management and digital marketing strategies.
• Strong organizational abilities; able to manage multiple projects.
• Passionate about social impact and community empowerment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic outreach plans to engage diverse community groups and individuals.
• Coordinate virtual information sessions, workshops, and events to raise awareness about available services.
• Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, partner organizations, and stakeholders through online platforms.
• Manage social media campaigns and digital communication channels to promote outreach activities.
• Collect feedback from community members to assess the effectiveness of outreach efforts and identify areas for improvement.
• Track outreach metrics and prepare regular reports on program activities and outcomes.
