Placements24 in South Africa is seeking a dedicated Community Health Worker for a fully remote role focused on health education and support for residents in the Bloemfontein area within the Free State.

You will use digital platforms to deliver health information, promote preventive care, and assist clients in accessing healthcare services. This role requires a compassionate individual with a strong understanding of public health principles and excellent remote communication skills.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Community Health Work, Nursing, or a related health field.
• Previous experience as a Community Health Worker or in a similar health support role.
• Strong knowledge of public health principles and common health issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for remote interaction.
• Proficiency with computers, internet, and virtual communication tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.

Responsabilités

• Deliver health education and information remotely via phone, video calls, and digital messaging.
• Assist clients in understanding health conditions, treatment plans, and preventative measures.
• Guide clients through the process of accessing local healthcare services, including scheduling appointments and navigating the healthcare system.
