Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Commercial Contracts Attorney to join its legal team. The role is remote, supporting operations in Rustenburg and the North West province, with responsibility for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements.

You will translate complex legal concepts into practical business solutions, advise stakeholders on contractual risks, and help implement standardized templates and best practices to streamline contracting processes.

Qualifications

• Qualified attorney with at least 5 years of experience in commercial contract law.
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
• Strong knowledge of contract law, consumer protection, and industry regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, essential for remote collaboration.
• Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with contract management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and revise all types of commercial contracts, including sales, service, licensing, and partnership agreements.
• Conduct thorough legal research to ensure contract compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Negotiate contract terms and conditions with external parties to protect the company's interests.
