Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a visionary Cloud Network Architect for a fully remote role. You will design and implement scalable, secure cloud networks across major platforms, guiding best practices and automation to deliver resilient infrastructure.

You will collaborate with distributed engineering teams, manage IaC deployments with Terraform/CloudFormation, and ensure compliance, performance, and cost efficiency. A strong background in cloud networking, security, and scripting is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent.
• 7+ years in network architecture and design; 3+ years in cloud environments.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP in large network setups.
• Scripting/automation with Python, Ansible, Terraform.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security principles and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable cloud network architectures on AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Develop and manage VPCs, subnets, routing, firewalls, and load balancing.
• Automate deployments with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Ensure network security and monitoring for performance and threat detection.
• Collaborate with development and operations to optimize performance and cost.
