Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to join a globally distributed, fully remote team. You will design scalable, secure cloud environments and guide clients and internal teams on best practices across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

You will lead architecture efforts, define requirements, and craft migration roadmaps while communicating complex concepts clearly to stakeholders and providing hands-on technical guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 7+ years IT architecture experience, with 5+ years cloud-focused (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proven design and deployment of complex cloud infrastructures and hybrid environments.
• Strong networking, security, databases, and containerization knowledge in cloud contexts.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS/Azure) are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure cloud architectures balancing cost and performance.
• Provide technical leadership on cloud best practices and patterns.
• Collaborate with clients and teams to translate requirements into cloud solutions.
• Develop migration roadmaps for moving applications to the cloud.
• Create architectural diagrams, implementation plans and runbooks.
• Troubleshoot complex cloud deployment challenges.
