Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a visionary Cloud Solutions Architect for a fully remote role. You will design, implement, and manage scalable, secure cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

This position requires strategic thinking, strong communication, and a track record of delivering cloud solutions in fast-paced environments. You will guide engineering teams, establish best practices, and evaluate new cloud services to improve performance and cost-efficiency.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Cloud Architect or in a senior infra role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Hands-on experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and services like EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable cloud solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP with security and cost-efficiency.
• Lead the migration of applications and infrastructure to the cloud.
• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure best practices and documentation.
• Provide technical leadership to development and operations teams on cloud technologies.
• Evaluate new cloud services to enhance performance and capabilities.
• Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues and implement effective solutions.
