Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote Claims Adjuster to join a fully remote team serving clients across South Africa. You will investigate, evaluate, and settle claims in compliance with policy terms and regulations, managing a diverse caseload from home with autonomy and flexibility.

Key responsibilities include gathering information, assessing liability and coverage, negotiating settlements, and maintaining detailed records in the claims system.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Claims Adjuster or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of insurance policies, claims procedures, and relevant legal frameworks.
• Strong analytical, investigative, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Investigate insurance claims by gathering necessary information, including policy details, incident reports, and witness statements.
• Evaluate the extent of liability and damages, determining the validity and coverage of claims according to policy provisions.
• Negotiate settlements with policyholders and claimants, ensuring fair and timely resolution of claims.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all claims activities and communications within the claims management system.
• Adhere strictly to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all claims handling processes.
• Collaborate remotely with internal teams, legal counsel, and external experts as needed to resolve complex claims.
