Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Civil Engineer with PrEng registration to lead infrastructure design and oversight from Klerksdorp. You will design roads, bridges, and water systems, supervise remote teams, and ensure on-time delivery of public works across the North West region.

Require a Bachelor's or Master's in Civil Engineering plus 7+ years' experience, strong CAD (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit) and project management skills, and excellent communication for remote collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
• PrEng registration with ECSA.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit) and project management tools.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in civil engineering design and project management.
• Experience with remote team collaboration and project oversight.
• Strong analytical and communication skills for remote work.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop plans for civil infrastructure projects such as roads, drainage systems, and water supply networks.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies, utilizing data provided by on-site teams.
• Prepare technical reports, engineering drawings, and specifications using CAD software.
• Oversee the implementation of construction activities, ensuring compliance with design, budget, and timeline requirements through remote monitoring.
• Collaborate effectively with project stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and community representatives.
• Ensure all projects adhere to environmental regulations and safety standards, providing remote oversight and guidance.
