Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Civil Design Engineer for a fully remote role. Lead design development of civil infrastructure, collaborate with virtual teams, and ensure technical integrity across projects for clients worldwide.

Ideal candidate has 10+ years in civil design, strong AutoCAD Civil 3D/Civil 3D/StormCAD skills, and a PE license. Remote work requires disciplined communication and self-management across time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Master’s degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent professional registration is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design development of civil infrastructure projects, including site development, grading, drainage, and utilities, using advanced engineering principles.
• Prepare comprehensive design reports, technical specifications, and construction documents for diverse projects.
• Conduct thorough design reviews and quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with standards and best practices.
• Collaborate effectively with remote project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines via virtual communication tools.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design staff working remotely.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and innovative design approaches in civil engineering.
